History

In 1951 there were already three Women’s Bowling Clubs on the Clarence River, Yamba, Maclean, and South Grafton. On the 8th November 1951 a Meeting was held at the South Grafton Women’s Bowling Club, and was well attended by the three existing Clubs with the view of forming the “Clarence River District Women’s Bowling Association”.
